A Black Brant 10 sounding rocket featuring a new third-stage motor launched Aug. 4 from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia’s eastern shore.
The purpose of the mission was to qualify the new production Nikha rocket motor.
NASA said in a press release that the launch was a success.
