Houston-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) will continue supporting safety and mission assurance activities at NASAโ€™s Johnson Space Center, Houston, for at least another year under a contract extension the U.S. space agency announced April 25.

The one-year extension includes two additional six-month options for a total potential value of $73.8 million.

Work under the Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services contract will be performed at Johnson, Kennedy Space Center in Florida and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.

SAICโ€™s significant subcontractors include ARES Corp. of Houston; Engle Technologies of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Florida International University in Miami; Futron Corp. of Bethesda, Md.; GHG of Houston; J&P Technologies of Houston; JES Tech of Houston; and Millennium Engineering and Integration Co. of Arlington, Va.
