NASA said March 22 it had selected four Texas firms to perform up to $49 million worth of architecture and engineering services at NASAโ€™s Johnson Space Center in Houston, nearby Ellington Field and the Sonny Carter Training Center, and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico.

The five-year firm, fixed-priced contracts were awarded to HDR Architecture of Dallas and three Houston-based companies: PDG Architects; Reynolds, Smith and Hills Inc.; and URS Group Inc.

The services will include feasibility studies, conceptual designs, engineering reports, budget estimates, etc., for new construction and refurbishment projects at the Johnson-managed facilities.
