NASA has selected Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI)ย for the Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Geophysics (HBG) Support Services contract at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The HBG contract is to acquire scientific research services to conceive, develop and apply space, field-deployed and laboratory based technologies and observations to address issues of importance to society, including water resources, land and ocean ecosystems, health, global and regional sea level change, natural hazards, changes in the Earthโ€™s cryosphere, gravity field, magnetic field, solid Earth, topography, reference frames, and the effects of climate change on life on Earth.ย

The transition period will start on or about February 15, 2020 with a contract start date of April 1, 2020 under a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) IDIQ contract with a maximum ceiling of $425M.ย

SSAI will provide a full range of science and research support across the breadth of various laboratories that make up the HBG Subdivision of NASAโ€™s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, including theย Cryosphericย Sciences, Ocean Ecology, Hydrological Sciences,ย Biosphericย Sciences, Geodesy and Geophysics and Terrestrial Information Systems Laboratories.
