Paragon Space Development Corp. has completed the preliminary design review of an air revitalization system it is developing for manned spacecraft under NASAโ€™s Commercial Crew and Cargo Program, the Tucson, Ariz.-based company said Aug. 23.

Paragon is working on the Commercial Crew Transport Air Revitalization System (CCT-ARS) under a funded NASA Space Act Agreement awarded in February and worth $1.4 million. The preliminary design review was the third of five program milestones Paragon intends to complete this year. The two remaining milestones are completing the manufacturing of the CCT-ARS engineering development unit and conducting integrated ground tests on the system.
