In hopes of getting more young people excited about science, NASA is partnering with publisher Tor-Forge to develop a line of science fiction books, Wired reports.

The space agency will pair its โ€œspace geeksโ€ with Tor-Forge writers to create โ€œNASA Inspired Works of Fiction,โ€ a line of books intended to spark interest in engineering, mathematics, technology and science, the article says.

Nona Cheeks, director of Innovative Partnerships at NASAโ€™s Goddard Space Flight Center, said in a statement, โ€œThis agreement will benefit the public, as we look for innovative ways to communicate our past and current achievements, while focusing on the needs of the future.โ€
