Cooperation?
It is distressing to read of lawmakers pushing for “cooperation” with Russia on missile defense “Weldon Presses Missile Defense Cooperation With Russia” [March 7, page 6]. Conspicuously missing from the article was any mention of what it is that the United States gets in return.
It is well known that every past cooperative program with the Russians has resulted in a one-way technology transfer from the United States to the Soviets (sic). Every time we get taken f or rubes, and if Ramos proceeds, the Russians will be laughing again.
